Brazil gets ‘Trump’d’

25/09/2010

Brazil has received further endorsement of its status as one of the most booming real estate markets in the world, having received the official seal of approval from Donald Trump.
Donald and the Trump Organisation have made its first large real estate investment since the global economic bust, and have made it in Brazil. Trump has been a long admirer of the potential of property investment growth in Brazil and has now put his cards firmly on the table, announcing a joint venture with a Brazilian developer under the brand of Trump Realty Brazil.
Trump historically franchises his investments however his belief in Brazil sees him take a direct 50% stake in Trump Realty Brazil to extend the brand for up-scale luxury real-prime property into the Brazilian property market. This demonstrates his commitment to Brazil’s progress and the real estate boom throughout the country.
An example of previous markets and Trump’s uncanny timing was in Panama, during its boom period. Trump created a Trump Tower including commercial, condominiums, hotel, luxury residential and casino within a focal point sky-scraper in the heart of Panama City. A project that was highly successful by all accounts.
Trump has been an advocate of Brazil’s investment potential for a number of years. Now it appears he’s backed it up by becoming directly involved in capitalizing on its growth.
